Ponytails

A ponytail is a simple style, but you can jazz it up by tying your hair in a different way. You can try the high or low ponytail.
For the high ponytail, just brush all hair up to the crown of the head and secure them using a rubber band.
For a low ponytail, the hair is secured using a rubber band at the nape of the neck. You could leave out some strands at the sides. You can also try the messy side ponytail hairstyle.

Braids

You can sport the different variations of French braid. These always look fashionable. A side French braid looks stunning.
Braiding can also help you create waves. Shampoo your hair at night. Before they dry completely, start braiding your hair. Make a simple braid. Untie your hair in the morning and run your fingers through your hair. You can tie them or leave them open.

Updos
For an updo, tie your hair and twist them in a swirling motion. Wrap the twist around the base till the end. Secure it with bobby pins.
You can also try the braided updos. Divide your hair in two sections and braid. The braids must then be coiled in the bun at the nape of the neck.
Try the Chinese bun or the Chinese braided updo. Knotty bun hairstyle looks great. Make a high ponytail and secure it with a rubber band. Twist the hair clockwise around the center. Move hair through the center of this bun to make a knot. Insert hair sticks to hold the bun.
If you have a layered haircut, try another elegant updo. Take a small front section of hair. Part in the center, start braiding the hair all the way back. Make a ponytail with the rest of the hair. Next step would be to twist the length of hair loosely. Make a bun and tuck the end back into the scrunchie underneath. Use bobby pins to hold the bun in place.
