It differs from person to person. And many times, the claims made by companies about the effectiveness of their creams are not true. Most of these creams contain harmful chemicals, and are also quite expensive.
Natural face creams on the other hand, contain no chemicals and are safe to use. They do not cause harm to the skin. When choosing a face cream for dry skin, its good hydrating properties matter more than any other qualities. Some effective and completely natural face cream recipes are given below which you can try at home.

Egg Yolk, Sesame Oil, Avocado Oil, Almond Oil, and Apple Cider Vinegar

Beat the egg with a rotary beater until it becomes thick. Then, mix all the three oils together and pour this mixture into the egg bowl. Continue beating it.
Add some apple cider vinegar to the mixture, and beat it until it becomes smooth. Fill the mixture in a jar and store it in a place with a cool temperature. The mixture of all the three oils is highly effective to get rid of dry skin patches on the face.

Vegetable Oil, Beeswax, and Dried Calendula Petals

Mix the vegetable oil, beeswax, and dried calendula petals in a pan, and heat the mixture until the petals are completely absorbed by the hot oil. When the mixture becomes a paste after being thoroughly heated, stop the heating and allow it to cool and solidify for a few hours.
After it has solidified, put it into a jar or a container and apply it all over body. This homemade face cream is acknowledged all over the world for its effect on rashes, burns, and irritation of the skin.

Egg, Sesame Oil, Coconut Oil, Sunflower Oil, Liquid Lecithin, and Lemon Juice

In a bowl, beat the egg and add all the other ingredients to it one after the other--coconut oil, sesame oil, sunflower oil, liquid lecithin, and lastly, lemon juice.
Remember that the quantity of all the oils and the lemon juice should be extremely less in comparison to the egg. Otherwise, the mixture will turn into a syrup and not a cream. Fill the mixture in a jar and keep it in the refrigerator so that it will stay cool and fresh for many weeks.
Preparing these cream recipes is very easy, and they are also very effective. However, if you do not have the time to prepare them, you can try some other quick methods. If you have an aloe vera plant at home, take a leaf of it and squeeze out the fluid from it. Apply this over your face and neck and wash it off after 10 minutes.
This will naturally moisturize your skin. Another method you can try is a mixture of oatmeal, milk, and honey, which not only soothes dry skin in seconds but also makes it supple and soft. If you have a face cream that you no longer use, mix marshmallow with it to make a creamy paste and apply this every night. This remedy is very effective.
Face creams made from natural ingredients are extremely gentle and can be applied at anytime of the day. Skin that is extremely dry doesn't hold water for more than a few minutes, which invites wrinkles and fine lines easily. Moisturizing it will allow it to breathe and hence, remain healthy.
