Natural remedies are easy to prepare and will help you get rid of beauty problems like hair fall, acne, dark circles, etc. Here are some great remedies that are more effective than the use of harsh chemicals on your skin.
With the availability of various types of commercial beauty products, the natural remedies for skin and hair care obtained from nature have been ignored and sidelined. Sadly, most of the time it is too late to repair the damage by the time we realize the amount of damage that has been done by these products.
So, it will be a wise move to get back to good old natural home remedies to preserve our beauty, instead expensive commercial chemical-based products. Try these remedies for healthy, glowing, and blemish-free skin, beautiful hair, and gorgeous, healthy fingernails and toenails.

Natural Remedies

Natural remedies require the use of easily available ingredients, either by themselves or as a combination of a few ingredients. Some of these ingredients might already be available in your kitchen, otherwise they are quite inexpensive and can be purchased from general stores.

Skin Care

Dry Skin

Use a mixture of avocado oil and primrose oil for dry skin. Pour this mixture into a container and shake well. Apply it generously to your skin before a bath, and leave it on for around 15 minutes before washing it off.

Oily Skin

For blemished oily skin, warm 1 tablespoon of honey and massage in circular motions on damp skin for around 10 minutes. Allow it to air dry, wash off with warm water, and pat dry.

Exfoliation

Exfoliation is very necessary for skin care. Mix ½ cup of olive oil, ¼ cup of shelled walnuts, ½ cup of oatmeal, and 1 tablespoon of honey in a food processor, and store in a container. Use a generous amount of this mixture to exfoliate the skin before a bath and massage well. Leave it on for around 10 minutes, and then wash off with cool water.

Face Pack

Make a facial mask by mashing ½ a ripe banana, mix it with a little milk, and apply it to your face. Let it stay for around 15 to 20 minutes, wash off with warm water, and pat dry with a towel. Follow it up with a moisturizer, and use this facial mask at least once a week for soft, supple skin.

Anti-acne Face Mask

Separate the egg whites from two eggs. Whip the egg whites in a blender until fluffy. Apply this to the problem area, leave it on for 20 minutes, and then wash off with warm water and pat dry. This is a good natural acne cure.

Anti-wrinkle Face Mask

Mash 2 unripe papayas, mix this with 1 teaspoon of olive oil and some milk. Apply this to your face, and let it air dry for around 30 minutes. Wash the mask off with warm water, and pat dry.

Cleanser

Mix 1 cup of yogurt, some tomato juice, and aloe vera juice. Apply it on your face and neck, and leave it on for a few minutes. Wash off with warm water, and pat dry.

Astringent

Mix 6 parts lemon balm, 4 parts rose balm, 1 part lemon peel, 1 part rosemary balm, 1 part lavender essential oil, and 1 part vinegar, and store it in a bottled container. Use this mixture over the face as an astringent whenever required. Make sure you shake the bottle well before use.

Toner

Mix ¼ cup of tomato juice, ¼ cup of cucumber juice, ¼ cup of carrot juice, ½ cup of chamomile tea, ½ cup of spearmint tea, and ½ cup of lemon juice in a glass jar, and blend well. Refrigerate this mixture and use when required. Using a toner is essential for facial skin care.

Blemish Corrector

Mash 5 to 6 ripe strawberries, and mix with a little yogurt and a few drops of lemon. Apply this mixture to damp skin, and massage gently. Leave it on for a while, rinse off with warm water, and pat dry.

Dry Chapped Lips

Apply a paste made by mixing equal amounts of milk cream and glycerin to the lips, leave it overnight, and rinse off the next morning. This is one of the most effective home remedies.

Eye Care

Anti-puffiness

To eliminate the puffiness from the eyes, peel a potato, and wash and dry it well. Then, grate the potato, fill this in a clean cloth, and make a poultice out of it. Place this on your eyelids as an eye pack for around 15 minutes.

Under Eye Dark Circles

Make a paste by mixing 1 teaspoon of tomato juice, a pinch of turmeric powder, a pinch of gram flour, and a few drops of lemon. Apply this on the dark circles daily. Allow it to dry, and wash off carefully with cool water.

Hair Care

To add volume to thin dull hair, use beer as a conditioner after shampooing. Leave it on for 5 minutes and rinse.
