  • Get these ingredients together: in bowl 1, mix 3 tablespoons micronized titanium dioxide, 1½ teaspoons magnesium stearate, and ½ teaspoon bismuth oxychloride.
  • In bowl 2, mix ¼ teaspoon jojoba oil and few drops of essential oil. And in bowl 3, mix 2 teaspoons iron oxide (your choice of color) and 2½ teaspoons sericite mica - matt.
  • Take the ingredients from bowl 3 and very gently, add it to bowl 1 ingredients. Mix everything properly.
  • If you want to add a shimmering effect in your eyeshadow, you can add pearl sericite as well. And for a less luster (sheer look), just add sericite mica - matt.
  • Now take the ingredients from bowl 2 and add in bowl 1. Again mix everything properly with the help of a spoon.
  • Take another bowl and sift the mixture to get fine powder. Add this to a small sifter jar.
  • If the color is not what you were looking for, to alter it, you can add more iron oxides. And if you want a lighter shade that what you have, add in titanium dioxide, sericite mica, and zinc oxide.
Now this is a base recipe for all eyeshadow colors. In the above mentioned recipe, you need to add either 1/4 teaspoon brown oxide, ½ teaspoon ultramarine violet pigment, 1/16 teaspoon red#180 oxide, ½ teaspoon aborigine coral mica, or 1/16 teaspoon red #180 oxide for various shades. By choosing different iron oxide colors, you too can add more eyeshadow colors in your palette.
Eyeliner Pencil
To enhance your eyes and make them pop, you need to add a quality eyeliner pencil in your makeup bag. The next mineral cosmetic includes the recipe for one.
  • Get these ingredients together: in bowl 1, mix 2 teaspoons carnauba wax, 1 tablespoon jojoba oil, ½ teaspoon beeswax pearls, ¼ teaspoon stearic aid, and ¼ teaspoon myristyl myristate.
  • In bowl 2, mix 2 drops vitamin E oil, ½ teaspoon iron oxide (color your choice), ¼ teaspoon magnesium stearate, and ¼ teaspoon silk mica powder.
  • Take the ingredients from bowl 1 and melt them over a double boiler. Make sure the ingredients don't boil, just melt.
  • Once done, turn the heat off, and leave on one side.
  • For bowl 2, mix everything properly and make sure there are no chunks.
  • In a beaker, add both the bowls' mixtures and mix properly till smooth.
  • You'll require a plastic straw to pour the mixture in so that it will take the shape of the eyeliner pencil.
  • Block one side with tape and then pour it carefully to make sure nothing spills.
  • After it is filled, keep it in an upright position and let it cool for few hours.
  • Once the wax hardens, the pencil is ready to be sharpened and for use.

Concealer
This next one of the recipes shows you how easy it is to make a concealer at home. Used as a makeup for oily skin, this loose concealer will give you right coverage.
  • Get these ingredients together: in bowl 1, mix 1 part micronized titanium dioxide, 1 part sericite mica - matt, and ½ part magnesium stearate.
In bowl 2, mix few drops of jojoba oil, essential oil (your choice), and vitamin E oil. And in bowl 3, 1/8 part yellow iron oxide and few pinches of light red iron oxide.
  • However much quantity you wish to make, use the measurements in tablespoons to calculate easily.
  • Take the ingredients of bowl 3 and mix in with bowl 1.
  • Blend everything properly and then add ingredients of bowl 2 in it.
  • Once you have mixed everything together, your concealer will be ready.
  • If you want to change the concealer into a liquid makeup, just add the concealer in with your face cream.
Foundation
For a natural makeup, using a loose powder foundation is perfect. Here are the steps to make one for yourself
  • Get these ingredients together: in bowl 1, mix 8 teaspoons micronized titanium dioxide, 4 teaspoons zinc oxide (low micronized), 3 teaspoons bismuth oxychloride, 1 teaspoon magnesium stearate, ½ teaspoon yellow iron oxide, 1/16 teaspoon brown iron oxide, and a dash of red iron oxide.
  • In bowl 2, mix 6-8 drops essential oil, 5 drops vitamin E oil, and ¼ teaspoon jojoba oil. And in bowl 3, keep 1 teaspoon sericite mica - matt.
  • Mix the ingredients of bowl 1 properly and add, very gently, bowl 2 ingredients; blend thoroughly.
  • In the end, add bowl 3 ingredients and mix till you get a smooth powder.
  • If the color is not what you were looking for, to alter it, you can add more iron oxides. And if you want a lighter shade that what you have, add in titanium dioxide, sericite mica, and zinc oxide more.
  • Add the powder in a small sifter jar and use a foundation blush for application.
Blush
First of all, we are going to see the steps of rose blush. The following recipe uses bismuth oxychloride. Get all the ingredients ready and follow the instructions carefully.
  • Get these ingredients together: 3 tablespoons micronized titanium dioxide, 3 tablespoons bismuth oxychloride, 2½ teaspoons zinc oxide (low micronized), 2 teaspoons pink pearl powder
1 or 2 teaspoons sericite mica - matt, 2 teaspoons red, yellow, and brown iron oxide pigment (mix), 1½ teaspoons magnesium stearate, ¼ teaspoons jojoba oil, and few drops of essential oil (your choice).
  • Take 3 different bowls. In bowl 1, mix micronized titanium dioxide, bismuth oxychloride, zinc oxide (low micronized), magnesium stearate, and (red, yellow, brown) combination iron oxide pigment.
  • In bowl 2, mix jojoba oil and another essential oil.
  • In bowl 3, mix pink pearl powder and sericite mica - matt.
  • In bowl 1, add the ingredients from bowl 2 and mix everything properly. Once everything is incorporated, add the bowl 3 mixture as well.
  • As you are mixing, be very gentle and slow so that you don't crush the mica powders.
  • To use the blush, get a small sifter jar and use a big blush brush.
  • If the color is not what you were looking for, to alter it, you can add more iron oxides. And if you want a lighter shade that what you have, add in titanium dioxide, sericite mica, and zinc oxide.
Bronzer
The next makeup recipe is going to be a bronzer. To make this bronzer, follow the instructions given below.
  • Get these ingredients together: in bowl 1, mix 7 teaspoons micronized titanium dioxide, 3 teaspoons bismuth oxychloride, 1 teaspoon magnesium stearate, and 2 teaspoons yellow, brown, and red iron oxide.
  • In bowl 2, mix 7-8 drops essential oil (your choice), 5 drops vitamin E oil, and ¼ teaspoon jojoba oil.
  • In bowl 3, mix 3 teaspoons sericite mica and 2 teaspoons bronze mica.
  • However much quantity you wish to make, use the measurements in tablespoons to calculate easily.
  • Take the ingredients from bowl 2 and mix in with bowl 1 properly.
  • Next, add the ingredients from bowl 3 in and mix again with a spoon till everything incorporates.
  • Once you mix all the ingredients together and still don't get your desired color, you can add more iron oxides to get the tint.
  • And if you want to make the shade lighter, you can add more titanium dioxide.
  • Pour the powder in a small sifter jar and use a brush to apply.

Final Mineral Makeup

In this last segment, we are going to prepare a recipe for finishing powder. If you have oily skin, the best makeup item you can carry in your purse is a finishing powder as it helps in absorbing oil and sweat from your face. Plus, the extra shine on your cheeks and forehead can also be easily hidden with the help of finishing powder. As for people with dry skin, don't use the powder as it will make your skin look dry and chalky.
Finishing Powder
The use of finishing powder makeup is essential as it helps set the makeup in place. This way, your makeup will last for a long time and you won't have to do touch ups very often. To give you a more natural and light look, use a finishing powder.
  • Get these ingredients together: 3 parts sericite mica - matt, 1 part cornstarch, ½ part zinc stearate, ½ part boron nitride, pinch of bronze mica powders, pinch of sparkle gold, and pinch of pearl pink.
  • However much quantity you wish to make, use the measurements in tablespoons to calculate easily.
  • This time, take a Ziploc bag and add the sericite mica, cornstarch, boron nitrate, and zinc stearate together.
  • Tightly seal the bag and use both hands to mix everything properly.
  • One by one, add the colors in till you the right shade. Open the bag and transfer the powder in a small sifter jar.
