Tips for Straightening Hair Naturally

First of all, let me just make something clear. If you are looking to get silky, smooth hair from a curly, wavy hair texture, then I might have to burst your bubble. It can be a bit tough to make this huge alteration because our hair, no matter what we do, will not transform this drastically. However, we can bring it down a few notches and make them at least manageable. So to get started, read all the home remedies given below.

Hot Olive Oil Treatment

For this hair straightening treatment, you can use either olive oil or coconut oil. Heat some olive oil in microwave and apply it from your scalp till the ends. Make sure you massage the oil into your scalp and every hair strand is coated as well. Boil some water and dip a towel into it.
Wear hand gloves and remove the towel with tongs. Squeeze excess water out and wrap the towel over your scalp and hair. After the towel becomes cool, dip it in hot water again and repeat the process. When the towel is cool, shampoo and condition your hair. Use a wide toothed comb to remove tangles and let your hair dry naturally.

Oil, Honey and Conditioner Treatment

To find the answer to our important question, you can try this next treatment. In a bowl, mix honey, olive oil, and conditioner together. Depending on how long your hair is, make enough so that you can apply generous amount. Make small sections of hair and coat them with the mixture.
Wear a shower cap after you are done for about 2 hours. Then, wash your hair properly with straightening shampoo. Make sure that the oil gets rinsed out properly. Use a brush or comb to remove all tangles from your hair and let them air dry.

Coconut Milk and Lime Juice Treatment

In this mixture, you can use either coconut milk or coconut juice. To make the juice, you need to grind fresh coconut pieces. Now, to make this straightening mixture, take a bowl to combine lime juice and coconut milk properly. Place the bowl inside the refrigerator as the mixture will begin to develop foam.
Take a steam or wrap a hot towel over your head with your hair inside. After 15 to 20 minutes, wash your hair with a straightening shampoo and conditioner. Air dry your hair and use a brush so that your hair won't be able to curl up.

Milk, Honey and Strawberries Treatment

First, we will use the mixture of milk, honey, and strawberries. In a blender, crush strawberries into a paste and then add milk and honey in. Blend well till you get a good paste. Apply this mixture into your scalp and hair, massage properly, and let it sit in for about 2 hours or so. After the time is up, wash your hair thoroughly so that the mixture is rinsed out. Shampoo and condition your hair like you normally do. Air dry your hair and use a wide toothed comb to remove tangles.
I hope that now you know the answer from this story. Now an important tip before you begin making these different mixes. The thing is, you are not supposed to use all these mixtures one after the other to get straight hair.
Also, if you feel that after the first application you'll begin to see drastic changes in your hair's texture, then you need to think again. It is only after repeated applications you will notice the difference in the texture of your hair. To get straight hair (or while styling hair), proper maintenance is very important.
