Loose and sagging stomach skin is a major cosmetic concern, especially for women. Here are some tips to counter this problem effectively.
Pregnancy and quick weight loss are among the most common causes of sagging stomach skin. Such loose skin degrades your body shape and physical appearance. You tend to avoid wearing figure-hugging clothes, due to the distorted body shape.
It is not that difficult to get back in shape, as there are numerous ways of tightening belly skin. They include toning exercises, proper diet, skin tightening creams and procedures, etc. Here are some of the effective ways to get rid of the saggy stomach skin.

Toning Exercises

Physical exercise is one of the best ways to tighten stomach skin. Cardio exercises are excellent for this purpose.
If you are a woman, who wants to tighten flabby belly skin after childbirth, it is always better to follow the advise of your healthcare provider regarding physical exercises. The same applies to those with serious medical conditions.
Others must follow a proper exercise regimen. You may bring certain changes to it, if your fitness expert agrees with you. This will naturally tighten up your skin.

Right Diet

Following a balanced diet that is rich in carbohydrates, proteins, fats, fiber, vitamins, and minerals. Avoid heavy meals. Instead, have smaller meals, five to six times a day. Avoid having food late in the evening.
Consume lots of fruits and vegetables, and drink plenty of water. Consume foods rich in vitamin C, which boosts formation of collagen, which is beneficial for tightening the skin.

Skin Tightening Creams

There are several brands of skin tightening creams available in cosmetic stores. Those with collagen fibers are good for tightening saggy skin. Creams with anti-aging supplements may also work wonders. Most of the commonly available skin tightening creams help to reduce capillary permeability.
This actually helps in toning the skin and making it firmer. Products with hyaluronic acid as an ingredient, may also prove effective for skin tightening. Ingredients like aloe vera, essential oils, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin B, and essential fatty acids, are useful for making the skin firmer.

Skin Tightening Procedures

You may opt for skin tightening procedures to bring your stomach back in shape. It is always better to opt for non-invasive procedures rather than surgical ones like liposuction. However, surgery can be considered as an option, if all other methods fail to deliver result.
These are some of the simple, but effective methods for tightening stomach skin. It is better to adopt a combination of these methods, instead of sticking to any one of them.
