Scrunching accentuates the curls and waves in your hair, making it look fuller and more healthy. If you have thin hair, this hairstyle will work great in giving those strands a new life. Just follow these instructions, and you'll have a look you'll absolutely love.

Instructions

1. You will to first wash your hair. Do so with a shampoo that suits your hair type. Follow it up with conditioning. Rinse your hair clean with cold water; it will help in sealing your hair's moisture. If possible, use volumizing products.
2. Squeeze all the water out of your hair. It can be damp, but not entirely wet. Do not let it dry. Styling the hair while it is moist will yield best results.
3. After squeezing out water gently from your hair using your fingers, run a wide-toothed comb through your hair to loosen entangled strands. Avoid towel drying your hair, just dab it with the towel. Excessively combing wet hair will lead to hair breakage.
4. You will now need styling gel, cream, and hair mousse.
Apply the mousse using a vented brush; this will distribute the mousse evenly. If you want, you can also use an anti-frizzing cream or gel. It will block the frizz as well as add texture.
5. Now, once you have all the products―gel, mousse, and styling creams, start scrunching your hair. Hold a few strands vertical to your scalp. With the help of a comb, comb these strands backwards. Keep pushing your hair towards your scalp; do this continuously and all the way around your head.
Finally, you can use a hair dryer to blow dry your hair after scrunching. However, letting them dry naturally is a better idea.
If you want to scrunch your hair overnight, or prevent them from going flat over the night, pull your hair up loosely using a soft hair tie, before you sleep. In addition to this, use a satin pillowcase on your pillow. Next morning, remove the hair tie gradually and then for getting back the bounce spritz your hair with water.
