Lighten Your Skin Naturally

Mostly Asians (not including people from India) and Caucasians have pale skin tone and more often than not, this look is considered as beautiful. Skin that can get dirty with just one touch; I mean, if you wished, who wouldn't want that?
Many women, in the hopes of having lighter skin tone, they often try more than one treatment methods such as bleaching, homemade facials, and other cosmetic treatments.
But I'm here to tell you that getting pale skin can be achievable with the ingredients found in your pantry and kitchen. No matter what you reasons are behind wanting to know how to get pale skin, we have at home methods that will help you get the desired skin tone you are looking for.

Wear Proper Clothing

First and foremost, wear protective clothing when you are outside in the sun. Cover your arms with long sleeved-shirts and wear long pants or jeans. For the face, use big straw hat, sun glasses, and carry an umbrella (if possible).

Apply Sunscreen

Always apply sunscreen with high SPF for your skin type. When you purchase one, read the label to see if it says for sensitive, dry, normal, or oily skin. More often than not, sunscreen lotions can be really helpful in keeping your skin from getting tanned or sunburned.

Take a Bath

To lighten your skin tone, draw a bath, add 1 oz. baking soda in the tub, and sit in it for about 10 minutes or so. This will help you in getting pale skin.

Use Oatmeal

Soak oatmeal in water and apply it directly on your hands, feet, face, and body. Rub the mixture gently in circular motion and then take a bath to remove the paste. Do this at least 2-3 times a day to notice a difference.

Apply the Correct Nail Polish

Apply dark-colored nail polish like burgundy and dark brown. This will give the feel that you have lighter skin tone. Also, you can change the color of your hair, make it darker, and apply makeup for pale skin. This also helps in giving you a lighter complexion.

Take a Bath, Again!

This tip again involves taking a bath but this time with milk and Epsom salt. In a bucket, add ½ gallon whole milk and at least 4 cups of Epsom salt in it. Take a bath once every week with this liquid mixture.

Prepare a Mask

Make a mask using sandalwood powder, tomato, lemon, and cucumber juices. Or you can add sandalwood powder with rose water and apply directly on your face. Leave it on till it dries and then wash with lukewarm water.
These were some natural tips to lighten your skin. Although I should remind you that even though you came here in search for the answers, remember this - pale skin can easily get sunburned and needs extra care. So make sure you take necessary precautions to keep your skin healthy and safe.
