If you have been searching for options to use in place of a nail paint remover, then you have come to the right place. This story provides you with some easy homemade nail polish removers that you can try.
Many women have the habit of constantly changing the color of their nails. Hence, they frequently use nail polish removers. However, in the absence of the same, they face a dilemma, as they do not know the alternatives. Apart from containing harsh chemicals, a nail polish remover is costly and evaporates easily.
So, why pay for something that will extinct within few uses? For those who love experimenting with nail colors everyday, a homemade nail polish remover can come in handy. There is no specific homemade nail polish remover recipe, but there are many ingredients in our house that can be used for the purpose.
Given below are some of the things, easily found in our house, that remove nail varnish as effectively as any other remover:

Nail Polish

Surely you have a bottle of this at home. All you have to do is apply a thick coat of new nail polish on your nails, and wipe it off immediately before it dries up. The old polish will come off, along with the new one. Isn't it easy, quick, and inexpensive?

Hot Water

If you have weak fingernails, hot water is one of the best natural homemade removers for you. You need to heat a bowl of water to a temperature which you can tolerate. You must soak your fingers in the hot water for fifteen minutes.
Once the nail polish becomes soft, scrape it off gently. Even though hot water is a complete natural nail care substance, its application may be time-consuming.

Perfume

Your perfume too can help you get rid of the ugly residue of nail varnish. Perfumes contain acetone which is one of the active nail polish ingredients found in commercial removers. If you are ready to spare some of it, try this idea. Take few drops of perfume on a cotton swab, and wipe off the nail polish.

Rubbing Alcohol

Rubbing alcohol is a natural yet effective substance, having antibacterial qualities. It contains ethanol and ethyl alcohol, that help remove nail polish. It may also solve various fingernail problems if you are suffering from any.
It is easily available in the market in small bottles at cheap prices. Take few drops of rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab, and rub off the nail polish.

Hairspray

If you have hairspray or mousse, removing nail polish can be easier. Hairspray contains ingredients that are used in commercial nail polish removers. So, spray a cotton swab with a small amount of hairspray, and see the old nail polish vanishing within few minutes of application.

Toothpaste

Toothpaste too is a strong contender when it comes to nail polish removal. Using it can be a little messy, but it is one thing that is readily available in every household. You need to apply a small amount of toothpaste on your nails, and then wipe it off with cotton gently. The old nail polish will come off the nails along with the paste.
Apart from this, you can also use paint thinner, or a mixture of vinegar and citric fruits to remove nail polish at home. Acetone nail polish removers are also efficient, but their safety is questionable. So, take your pick from the above options, and see your nails getting cleaned to don some new colors again!
