Mamta Mule
Hair conditioners made at home can be a great alternative to the ones available in the market. Here are some recipes for making this product in the comforts of you house.
Each time you shampoo your hair, it is recommended to use a conditioner afterwards to keep your mane smooth and silky. Homemade conditioners are a great option free from harmful chemicals to give your hair a natural shine and make them healthy. These homemade products mostly consist of ingredients from your kitchen. Here are some recipes to help you.

Recipe #1

Take one teaspoon baby oil, one egg yolk, and a cup water. Beat the egg yolk thoroughly and add oil to it. Now, beat it again. Add water to it and massage it into the scalp and apply thoroughly over the entire length of your hair. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes and then rinse it off properly.

Recipe #2

Take an avocado, peel it and mash it. You will also need coconut milk for this recipe. Mix the mashed avocado with some coconut milk. A smooth and thick (as a shampoo) conditioner must be ready. Comb it through your hair and leave it on for 20 minutes. Now, thoroughly rinse it off with water.

Recipe #3

Mix one teaspoon each of castor oil, Indian gooseberry or bacopa oil, malt vinegar, glycerin and shampoo. Castor oil gives body to hair, herbal oil acts as a tonic, vinegar restores the acid mantle, glycerin moisturizes your tresses, while shampoo is a medium that blends all the above ingredients.
Before washing your hair, apply this mixture to your head and leave it on for 20 minutes. Shampoo and rinse with water. This conditioner will give an amazing shine and softness to your hair.

Recipe #4

Grate 2-3 onions and a cabbage together and leave in a copper utensil overnight. Add a few drops of Eau de Cologne (perfumed liquid made of essential oils and alcohol) to remove the smell of onion. Add a few drops of Indian gooseberry or bacopa to it. Now, apply this mixture and shampoo your hair after 20 minutes. This will make your hair lustrous.

Recipe #5

Mix Henna with a pinch of sugar and 2 tablespoons of yogurt to form a paste. You can also add a little water if required. Apply this paste on the entire length of hair properly. Rinse it off with water after 20 minutes. This recipe can be followed by those who have oily hair. It will make your tresses soft and remove the stickiness.
You can substitute your expensive ready-made conditioners with any of these homemade products. These do not contain any harsh chemicals, so you have no fear of side effects. Make it a part of your hair care routine to protect your hair from any damage and make them shiny and soft.
