Gram flour is the best for all skin types and notably for oily skin and can be used by mixing one tbsp of it with little yogurt and 2-3 drops of lemon juice. Apply this paste evenly over the face. Let it dry and then wash it off with lots of water. It exfoliates the upper dead layer of the skin. If done daily, it will remove dark spots and acne too.It

Cleanse:

After scrubbing, cleansing is not needed. But scrubbing daily is not advisable. Routine cleansing is a must to remove dirt, bacteria and to avoid pimples, acne.

You may use face wash or cleansing milk available in the market for this purpose. Look for one that is meant for your skin type. At home, you can use honey mixed with 3-4 drops of lemon. Spread it on your face or the skin that needs cleansing. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes, and then rinse well with water. It cleanses the skin gently and effectively.

Moisturize:

Cleansing removes natural oil and moisture from the skin, so it's essential to moisturize it after cleansing or a bath. For an oily skin, use an oil-free moisturizer to prevent excess production of oil. Apply honey on the skin for 15-20 minutes and then rinse it off with water as it is a natural moisturizer. For dry skin, mix 2-3 drops of glycerin as well.

Fruits like papaya, watermelon, and banana also give moisturizing effect to your skin. A dry skin is more prone to the formation of wrinkles and fine lines, therefore, keep your skin always moisturized.

Protect from Sun:

Ultraviolet rays present in sunlight are one of the biggest enemies of your skin. They may trigger the aging process much before the scheduled time. In addition to ultra violet rays, sunlight can also tan your skin, which is a big hindrance in getting a flawless complexion.

Another very important point to remember is to protect your skin from sun. As far as possible, do not go out in the afternoon. In case you have to, apply a good quality sunscreen lotion at least half an hour before sun exposure. Tea extract acts as a natural sunscreen.

Moderate exercises, such as walking for half an hour, cycling, swimming, skipping, etc., will also help a lot in maintaining the health of your skin over time. Thus, make it a point that you are exercising moderately, but regularly, every day.
