Using Eyelash Curler Efficiently

There are four things that you will need to curl your eyelashes properly: an eyelash curler, mascara, eyelash brush, and a hair dryer.
An eyelash curler should always be used after the eye shadow has been applied and before the application of mascara for best effects. Also, make sure that your eyelashes are clean so that the curler can be used on them properly.

Step 1

First heat the curler with a blow dryer. According to beauty experts and reviews in various beauty magazines, a heated eyelash curler lends a better shape and length to the eyelashes than one that is used as it is.
Set the blow dryer at its lowest temperature and blow hot air on the curler for about five seconds. Next, touch the curler and see that its temperature is tolerable. If it's too hot, wait until it cools down a bit before moving on to the next step.

Step 2

Take the warm curler, open its mouth, and clamp the eyelashes of the upper eyelid from near the roots with it. Hold the curler in this position for about ten seconds.

Step 3

After ten seconds, keeping the eyes open, slowly move the mouth of the curler further away from the roots towards the ends. Retain this position for around five seconds. If you are feeling even a slight pinch, stop and readjust the curler, then begin the entire procedure again.

Step 4

Once you are done curling, open the mouth of the curler and remove it from the lashes.

Now take the mascara and apply to the eyelashes immediately, without any delay, so that the eyelashes are set as they are.

Step 6

After you have applied the mascara, and the eyelashes are still wet with it, take the eyelash brush and comb the lashes from the root of the eyelashes, from the inside of the eye, upwards. This will help to curl the lashes even more. Repeat all these steps on the other eye.
