Homemade Cream

Those of you who don't want to buy them off the market shelves, can always make one at home. There are a few simple recipes that you can try at home and make your own cream within a few minutes.

Honey and Lemon Juice:

Mix together 2 teaspoons of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of honey and soak your fingers in it for 15 minutes. Rinse them off with cold water and pat them dry!

Lanolin and China Clay:

Mix together 2 tablespoons of China clay and 3 teaspoons of lanolin. Apply this paste on the cuticles, before going to sleep. Do not wash it immediately, instead, leave it on overnight. Wash it off the next morning.

Glycerin and Petroleum Jelly:

Mix together 2 teaspoons of petroleum jelly and ½ teaspoon of glycerin. Apply this mixture on the cuticles, before going to sleep. Do not wash it immediately.


All you need to do is to find a good oil like olive oil or almond oil and apply it on your clean hands! Essential oils work great as a cuticle cream.
You may take additional precautions like getting regular manicures and pedicures, at least once a month! Have a balanced diet and drink plenty of water, so that the cuticles get adequate nourishment from within.
