Many of us have unwanted facial hair, most of us opt for hair removal. But even after removing, there are chances of the hair growing back.
This hampers the beauty of the face. Hence, it is not feasible to remove hair frequently, the solution to this is bleaching. It lightens the color of hair and makes them less noticeable. Bleaching hair naturally is a better option than removing the hair altogether.

Bleaching Facial Hair the Natural Way

  • Facial bleach kit
  • Warm water
  • Cotton towel

Before you bleach, wash your face with a mild cleanser and then pat it dry.

♦  According to the directions on the pack, mix bleach powder and activator cream in right amount. After mixing, the blend should appear white and thick.
♦  The cream should be applied thick with a bleaching spatula that comes along with the kit. Apply the cream in such a way that all the unwanted facial hair are covered.

♦  After a few minutes, wipe away the bleach. The time period for which the bleach should be kept on the face will be mentioned on the pack. You can use the spatula to wipe away the bleach.
♦  If the color of the facial hair does not change to the desired color, then again apply the bleach cream and follow the same procedure.

♦  After the desired color is obtained and the hair has lightened enough, you can wash off your face with warm water. After you have washed your hair, dry it with a cotton towel. Check if the hair has lightened enough.
♦  Bleaching cream contains strong chemicals which can have an adverse effect on your skin. So, before you bleach, perform a test patch and wait for 24 hours. If, it does not show any adverse reactions, then you can go ahead with the application. If any adverse reaction is observed, then it is better if you avoid bleaching the facial hair.

  • Hydrogen peroxide
  • Lemon juice
  • Lavender oil
  • Rhubarb

Cut the rhubarb in small pieces and place them in a pot. Add water to this pot. The level of the water should cover all the rhubarb. Then, allow the rhubarb to boil for 30 to 40 minutes. Strain this and put this liquid in a bottle.
♦  Mix hydrogen peroxide, lemon juice with lavender oil  in a container. Put this in the bottle of liquid rhubarb and keep it in the refrigerator.

♦  Before bleaching, always wash your face clean and then use this liquid. Apply it evenly over the hair you want to bleach. After drying, you can wash it off. Repeat the process daily to lighten facial hair.
