Apply this paste on your face with a spatula, spreading it evenly for best results. Leave it on for fifteen minutes, till the mixture dries out. Next, wash your face with normal water and pat dry. This baking soda acne mask will clear off the dirt and grime stuck in the skin pores, and add a glow to your complexion.

Now, apply this paste only on the pimples. Leave it overnight. The paste will dry of the oil snared by the skin. Wash your face with lukewarm water and pat dry it. Do it everyday till the pimple vanishes. This will also help in avoiding the scars it may leave behind.

Baking soda also works wonders as a skin exfoliation agent. Mix a teaspoon of baking soda with your regular facial cleanser and massage your skin with it for about 5 minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm water and pat dry your face. This natural exfoliant, removes the dead layers of the skin and unmasks the new layers. This process brings a glow to your complexion and makes you feel softer and lighter. Regular exfoliation also prevents long term acne problems.
Baking soda is a completely natural product and can be safely used for topical application. It is free of chemicals, so it rarely ever has any dire repercussions for your skin. Besides baking soda, rosewater for acne is also an effective acne remedy. As a final advice, drinking about eight glasses of water, eating a lot of vitamin A, and vitamin C and including 30 minutes of exercise in your daily routine is the secret formula for making your skin look young and healthy for a lifetime!
