Aromatherapy Recipes for Hair

Marian K
There are many different types of aromatherapy recipes for hair, which help address different hair and scalp issues. Read the following story to find out some effective ones.
Essential oils are a great natural treatment to soothe and calm hair, and provide them luster. They are said to make them healthier, and can even aid their growth. Some aromatherapy essential oils are chamomile, eucalyptus, geranium, lavender, lemon, peppermint, rosemary, sandalwood, tea tree, ylang-ylang, bergamot, dill, fennel, and jasmine.
Among the essential oils, the ones that are supposed to be beneficial for hair loss are bay, cedarwood, grapefruit, ylang-ylang, jojoba oil, roman chamomile, lavender, rosemary, and lemon.
While using this therapy, once you've understood the way in which each oil benefits hair, it is easy for you to treat them to small quantities of the ones they need the most, mixed with carrier oils like olive and jojoba oil.
Lavender is said to be great for calming the hair and soothing the scalp, while basil is said to promote growth by increasing circulation. Chamomile, which is frequently used in hair care products, has moisturizing and healing properties for both, the scalp and hair.
Myrrh is usually used in very small quantities for deep cleansing and is good for those with greasy hair. Rosemary and lemon essential oils are the ones you need to use if you have a dandruff problem or dry scalp, while peppermint oil helps to stimulate blood flow to the roots of the hair.
